The mansion was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend booking this place if you’re looking to stay in uluwatu! No more then a 3 minute walk to cashew tree that has really good eats and also no more then 10 mins from the beach walking! the property is well maintained with an excellent staff that makes you breakfast everyday! I give this place 5 stars easy!
Jesse and the Backyard Villa saved the day after we landed in Bali to find we had been scammed out of another villa. He accepted our reservation quickly and began communicating ASAP to get us across the island to the villa. Not only are the house and grounds amazing, but the entire staff is truly great. There is no reason to stay anywhere else in Bali. These amazing people will take great care of you. We’ve already decided that every trip to Bali will include staying at The Backyard. Look nowhere else!
The house was an absolute dream. I came here after a long business trip in Borneo and couldn’t be happier with this location. The staff are on top of their game. Naya made our stay exceptional. Food, drinks, and shopping are just down the street. If you want the crazy party atmosphere, this isn’t your place (unless you’re hosting your own, in which case this place is perfect). Thanks for making this place my home away from home.
All the staff looked after us terrifically and our stay was sublime. Nothing was too much trouble!

The place was so gorgeous, I just wanted to stay in the house the whole time visiting. Beautiful, stunning, gorgeous!! The staff were amazing! We didn’t have money converted when we got there, and Naya paid for our transportation, food and drinks the first night. She did so happily and did not bother us to pay her back. Of course we did the next day but she did not bother us at all about it. I’d definitely stay here again and again.
This house is in a great spot! Close to some superb restaurants. The staff at the house were always in hand to help us. We rented scooters and had in house massages. The view to the ocean is fabulous and you can walk down to a local spot to see the waves.
This is a spectacular villa for groups or families. Beautiful views over the ocean the cliffs of Uluwatu, great pool and entertaining areas both inside and outside. The staff and management were great and happy to organize anything from transfers and transport to meals, yoga and massage sessions at the Villa. We are already looking for our next reason to come back.
